Welcome to Lefkada!

Lefkada or Lefkas is an island located in the west of Greece.

It's the only Ionian island that can be reached by land, via a narrow canal with a bridge stretching over 50 kilometres long.

You must have heard about this island in Greek mythology, under the ancient name of Lefkas Petra, talked about in numerous myths.

Among other things, sailors experienced all the power of indomitable nature on the cape, Homer marked the island as an entrance to the underworld, and according to legend, the poet Sappho jumped from the same rock when Phao didn't reciprocate her love.

Even though it has a relatively small population, Lefkada will not disappoint, with all the archaeological sites, Greek villages and rich cultural life always going on.
